The second volume of the comic books based on The Book Of Mormon has been released and local comic book storeowners say its setting sales records. Douglas Dial, owner of Fantasy Rules, says he's never seen comic books sell like this. "The first volume sold 2000 copies and number two will come very close to that as well." Dial credits the success of the comic book because it uses the actual text from The Book Of Mormon. He also says the characters are drawn to look like realistic people, not exaggerated super heroes. Dial says the artist creating the comics plans on covering the entire Book Of Mormon. The next volume is likely to come out around September.
