Church History Symposium: Joseph F. Smith

Church History Symposium 2012

Join us for the annual Brigham Young University Church History Symposium. The focus of this year's symposium will be the era of past President of the Church Joseph F. Smith.
There will be two locations to attend. On Friday, March 2, the symposium will be held at the LDS Conference Center Little Theater in Salt Lake City. The first session will held from 3:00–5:00 p.m. The evening session will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will feature Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. On Saturday, March 3, the symposium will continue at the BYU Conference Center in Provo, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding with the keynote address by Joseph Fielding McConkie, beginning at 12:10 p.m. During the symposium, concurrent sessions will be offered by several notable historians, scholars, educators, and authors, covering a variety of topics that were part of the era of President Smith.

Saturday, March 3

Various speakers 8:30 a.m.-noon
